This is looking great-the colours go so well together. Glad that Fairy Girls quilt is coming along-can't wait to see it finished. What a lovely memory for her to know that she made her first quilt with her mum!

Mmmmmm llovely colours and prints - like the pattern too, complex but not too tricky!
Wonderful pictures of your property - here everything, and I mean everything! is covered in snow. Pining for spring.

Loved seeing how you put your disappearing nine patch together. Like you, I too stitched on the weekend trying to use a kit I had bought years ago of 6" flannel squares. Many times I had laid it out and pondered then shoved it back in the bag. I read on a blog about disappearing nine patch and decided to give it a go - it was so easy and enjoyable, until it came time to lay it out and work out how to put it together!! I tossed it all up in the air in disgust! Then surprisingly my very manly 11yo son placed it all out perfectly!!! I grabbed it up quick and stitched it and finished it all bar the label by 1am on Monday morning!! Next time I'm stuck with colour/placement I think I get my son to help again. Love the way you put yours together.

PS enjoy reading your blog

Such an easy pattern but also so beautiful when it completed. Your quilt is wonderful. I love how you added the sashing.

It's looking lovely. Can't wait to see more borders.
Isn't fairy girl a clever girl.
You will have to get another machine soon, if she is taking over.
